For renters
Is this the right building — and the right neighbourhood?
A two-year lease in Hong Kong is often signed within days of the viewing. Before you do, look at who lives around the flat, what the building's records say, whether there is a lift and a management body, what is licensed downstairs, and how far the MTR really is. Government data for any address, on one map.

What the map won't tell you — and where to look
Flats for rent
Listings are on Spacious, Squarefoot and 28Hse. We show the building, not what's available.
Whether the landlord owns it
A Land Registry search (IRIS, HK$10–25) shows the owner and any mortgage.
Mould, water pressure, neighbours
Only a viewing tells you. Go at the time of day you'll be home.
Agent commission
Customarily half a month's rent from each side — but it is negotiable, not fixed by law.
Check it before you sign
Search the address, tap the building, read the records and the neighbourhood.
