What is licensed at this address?
Every licensed restaurant, bar, food factory, guesthouse and clinic in Hong Kong has a licence tied to an address. The government publishes the lists; the map puts them on the building, so you can see what is operating downstairs — or in the unit you are about to lease.

We have saved the licence lists every day since 31 August 2026 — around 300 new restaurant addresses join each month.
A real example: Sun Hing Building, 180 Portland Street, Mong Kok
A 27-storey block in Mong Kok — the same building that takes Hollywood Plaza's afternoon sun on our unit-choosing page. What is licensed inside it:
- Licences at this address (FEHD)
- 8 restaurant · 10 liquor
- Hotel & guesthouse licences
- 62
- Buildings Department records
- mandatory building inspection notice · unauthorised works removal order
- Age
- 60 years
- Lifts (EMSD permits)
- 13
150 of 975 buildings within 300 m also have Buildings Department orders on record.
- A building can hold dozens of licensed guesthouses on its upper floors. If you are renting a flat, that is foot traffic in your lift at every hour.
- Licences are listed by address. Which floor or unit is in the licence record — the card shows it in the map.

What the licence lists won't tell you
Unlicensed businesses
An unlicensed operation leaves no record. Only the licensed ones are on the lists.
Licences that closed before we started
Our daily history begins on 31 August 2026. Earlier closures are not on any public list.
Whether a new licence would be granted
That depends on the premises, the lease and the plans — the licensing office decides case by case.
